CREDAI–MCHI Thane has officially announced Thane’s First Redevelopment Expo, scheduled to take place on 8th and 9th November 2025 at the Raymond Trade Show Hall from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The event is positioned as a dedicated knowledge and interaction platform exclusively for housing societies exploring redevelopment.

This is the first redevelopment-focused event dedicated solely to Thane, bringing together a panel of experts including developers, legal professionals, architects and financial consultants, all aligned with the redevelopment vision outlined under Thane Vision 2030.

Purpose of the Expo

With a large number of housing societies in Thane now crossing 25–30 years of age, redevelopment has become a key urban transformation theme. However, many societies continue to face confusion regarding FSI utilisation, member entitlements, rent compensation, legal procedures and developer evaluation.

The Expo aims to offer:
  • Direct interaction with reputed redevelopment-focused developers and consultants
  • Insights into the legal, financial and architectural framework of redevelopment
  • Access to multiple proposal formats for comparison and understanding
  • A structured platform for societies to gain clarity, rather than relying on fragmented market information

Part of Thane’s Urban Transformation Agenda

Under the upcoming cluster redevelopment policies and the broader Thane Vision 2030 urban renewal roadmap, several zones—including Panchpakhadi, Naupada, Vartak Nagar, Wagle Estate and pockets along the Ghodbunder Road belt—have been identified as high-potential redevelopment clusters. The announcement of this Expo reflects a formal push towards streamlined redevelopment awareness and engagement in the city.

Registration

Society office bearers, secretaries and committee representatives can register via CREDAI–MCHI Thane’s official communication channel. Entry is restricted to registered participants to ensure focused and structured interactions.
