Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has reported ₹556.19 crore in property tax collections for FY 2025–26 against a target of ₹841 crore. With the financial year ending on 31 March 2026, TMC has directed strict recovery action against defaulters, including water supply stoppage for residential cases and seizure/sealing measures for non-residential properties, alongside payment camps in large housing complexes.
