KDMT’s Route 82 will start from 4 March 2026, linking Swaminarayan City (Dombivli) to Thane’s Majiwada Junction via the Thane–Dombivli Link Road (TDLR) and Lodha Upper Thane. The 14 km route has a 40-minute headway and fares from ₹5 to ₹20.
Saket Creek Bridge is near opening and Kasheli Bridge is tracked to March-end, as per reports. With 8-lane widening and Mumbai–Thane freeway links taking shape, the Thane–Nashik Highway belt from Majiwada to Ranjnoli/Kalyan influence is entering a fresh growth phase.
Saket Creek Bridge (on the Mumbai–Nashik Highway) has completed construction and underwent a heavy-vehicle road test on 13 February 2026. As per reports dated 13–14 February, opening is expected within 48 hours, subject to final clearances. Kasheli Creek Bridge remains tracked to the March-end deadline.
