Why Commuters Will Welcome Route 82

For many working professionals, students, and families, the Dombivli–Thane commute can be tiring. Often, it means rail dependence or indirect road travel. However, Route 82 brings a direct municipal option.

It can offer:

  • Cleaner point-to-point travel between Dombivli and Majiwada
  • More reliable travel with a fixed headway and fare stages
  • Better road access to the Majiwada–Ghodbunder belt, a major work and housing zone

A Public Transport Infrastructure Signal Across The TDLR Influence Zone

Typically, city bus routes expand when demand becomes steady. They also expand when a corridor becomes workable for regular service. In that context, Route 82 is a clear signal.

The alignment via Swaminarayan City, the TDLR stretch, Lodha Upper Thane, and onward to Majiwada shows a wider push. It aims to connect growing residential pockets to the main public transport grid.
